Android 23 slowly made his way into the Saibaman Simulator. He had heard a lot about these strange creatures when he was still living with his father. They were tricky little creatures that fight dirty and will selfdestruct on their opponent if they know they can't fight you and win. He cracked his knuckles and rotated his neck. It didn't really matter to him how they fought. All that mattered was that he could become stronger if he fought these strange monsters.

He closed his eyes and waited for the loud beep to signal that the simulation began. He also used this time to do some mental preparation for this battle. So, I'm going to be fighting several Saibamen, he thought. I was warned more than once that this could be very dangerous, but at this point, I'll do just about anything to become more powerful!

Suddenly came a loud beeping noise; Android 23's eyes bolted open. He was slightly taken aback when he noticed that his surroundings changed from a small room to a wide open field, but he recovered quickly. His eyes shifted to a portion of the ground that had begun to cave in slightly. A sinister smirk crossed Android 23's face. This was the first Saibaman he would face. All at once, a hideous green monster with savage red eyes and a bulbous, vainy head sprang from the ground.

Without so much as a thought, Android 23 sprang into action, flying toward the grinning Saibaman that merely waited for his Changeling opponent. Android 23 roared as he balled up his fist to slam it into the Saibaman's face, but his opponent had other plans. The Saibaman dodged Android 23's attack and gave the Changeling a good slash from its claws on his arm. Android 23 flew back and bared his teeth. Clearly, attacking head-on was not a clever tactic, but he did have some other tricks up his sleeve. Android 23 smiled as he watched the Saibaman started to run in his direction.

This was all Android 23 would need to clear away this green creature. He pointed his index finger at the Saibaman and slowly extended his arm. He started to chuckle under his breath as he gathered some of his energy. Finally, once the Saibaman was close enough that he wouldn't be able to dodge, Android 23 blasted his Death Beam. The Saibaman leapt at Android 23, not realizing what its opponent had just done, and was struck right between the eyes with the Death Beam. It ran straight through the green alien's body and left him lifeless on the ground.

"Well, that wasn't too hard," Android 23 laughed as he observed the dead Saibaman. "I can't wait to see what else this simulator has to offer." Then, as if on cue, two more areas on the ground began to cave in, signalling the arrival of more Saibamen. Android 23 grinned as he got into a fighting stance, feeling prepared for just about anything.

Just as he had surmised, two Saibamen sprouted from the ground. They were identical to the one before, but they had a more crazed look in their eyes. Their grins were what Android 23 found to be the most disturbing parts about them. He couldn't help but wonder what they could possibly be so entertained by. He shook his head. This simulator was starting to get to him.

The two Saibamen rushed after him, screeching inhumanly as they neered. Android 23 also rushed towards them, prepared to fight them with all he had. Upon the collision, one of the Saibamen was the first to make a move. It balled up its tiny green fist and slammed it into Android 23's shoulder, though it didn't hurt him too bad. Android 23 countered, slamming his knee into the Saibaman's stomach, rendering him breathless. The other Saibamen took advantage of Android 23's momentary distraction and got him in a headlock, much to the Changeling's annoyance.

The kneed Saibaman grinned and flew back a few feet before holding out its palm. Android 23 watched as a large ki orb formed, ready to blast him at any second. He tried to pry the pesky Saibaman off of him, but the creature held on tight. Suddenly he got an idea; the Saibaman blasted the ki orb at Android 23, screeching insanely, but Android 23 reacted quickly. He quickly spun around, using the Saibaman that held him tightly as a shield. The blast struck the Saibaman, killing it instantly.

Android 23 smirked as he pulled the corpse off of him. The other Saibaman looked shocked to see its comrade fall to the ground, but it began to smirk soon afterward. At first, Android 23 was confused, but it was then he realized why the Saibaman was smiling. He began to hear the ground start to cave in again. He looked down and saw two more areas with two more Saibamen crawling out of the ground. This was going to get really old, really quick, but if it will help him to become more powerful, he would have to endure it.

Before he knew it, all three Saibamen rushed toward him, each one chattering to the other. Android 23 flew upward before they could get to him. "Is that the way you want it? Well, fine then," he growled as he prepared to use another attack. He crossed his arms over his chest in an 'X' form and began to spin very fast. The Saibamen stopped as a massive tornado began to form right where Android 23 was spinning. The Changeling could be heard from inside the funnel cloud, laughing.

"Try this on for size, Saibamen!" Android 23 cackled. "Hyper Tornado!" With that, his attack reached its maximum power and sucked in the terrified Saibamen. Android 23 was laughing maniacally as he watched the Saibamen sail past him several times, their eyes wide with shock. After a short period of time, the powerful winds from the tornado tore the Saibamen apart. Once Android 23 saw that they were dead, he stopped spinning and his powerful winds died down to nothing. Not long after those Saibamen were dead, Android 23 heard the familiar sound of the ground cracking apart. He sighed in annoyance, knowing that more green monsters were approaching.

Android 23 looked down at the ground, a furious scowl plastered on his face. This look, however, shifted to shock once he realized how many Saibamen were coming out of the ground. He counted them quickly and was shocked when he realized that the total number now was six! The Saibamen were definetely growing in numbers, and Android 23 wasn't sure if he would have the strength to hold all of them off for too long. What was he thinking?! He was a Changeling, a very powerful race in the universe! Of course he could handle a few walking vegetables!

As soon as each Saibaman had surfaced, Android 23 didn't waste any time. He pointed at the first Saibaman he saw and blasted a Death Beam at it. Same as before, the blast hit, but this one struck the Saibaman in the chest, leaving a gaping hole. Android 23 smirked, feeling somewhat pleased with himself. However, that feeling was short lived. The remaining Saibamen flew towards him at a fast pace. They were all screeching evilly, chilling him to the bone, but he knew he would have to get over it quickly.

Android 23 growled in response, trying to calm his nerves somewhat. He flew at the group of Saibamen, ready to fight as hard as he could. He slammed his fist into one Saibaman, sending it flying across the plains. He swiped his leg into the face of another Saibaman, hurling it into the ground. Another Saibaman had the unfortunate luck of having Android 23's reptillian tail constrict around its neck. Android 23 smirked and flew behind the Saibaman, using it as a temporary shield.

The other Saibamen stalled for a moment, not wanting to destroy their ally. Suddenly, they began to smirk. At first, Android 23 was confused, but it was then he saw what was happening. The Saibaman he was strangling began to glow brightly as it prepared to self destruct. Thinking quickly, Android 23 tore the Saibaman's head off of its shoulders, ending the self destruct tactic it was going to use. Android 23 was breathing heavily, that could have cost him his life if he hadn't acted quickly enough.

The remaining four Saibamen quickly lunged at Android 23, roaring angrily at the sight of their fallen comerade. Android 23 was going to use another Hyper Tornado attack, but he didn't feel he had enough time. He quickly flew away as fast as he could. After he was considerably far away from the gang of angry Saibamen, Android 23 prepared himself. He pointed his right arm diagonally then brought it around behind him. He then stretched it out to his right and performed the same action with his left arm. He then brought his arms to his chest to from an X. He then straightened his arms out, his fists balled up tightly. He then released a beam of red orange ki. The blast enveloped the Saibamen and immediately reduced them to ashes.

"Heh, child's play," Android 23 chuckled.

Android 23 was just beginning to have enough of this. His body was exhausted from the fighting. Already, he had killed eleven Saibamen, and he knew that more were on the way. It wouldn't be too long before he was completely out of energy, and that was the last thing he needed. He knew he couldn't give up now, however. Not if he wanted to become a powerful warrior.

He heard the ground crumbling again, only this time, it was much louder than ever before. He looked down and sighed in disgust. Twelve small craters were forming before his very eyes. This was going to be a nightmare! Saibamen slowly climbed out from each hole, grinning evilly. Before he knew it, all of the Saibamen were flying after him.

Android 23 growled under his breath. He didn't want to let them so much as lay a claw on him. He quickly flew downward from the swarm of green monsters. He couldn't help but be incredibly amused as he watched them collide rather violently, screeching in pain. Slowly, the floated away from each other, rubbing their limbs and heads. Android 23 then quickly blasted the swarm of Saibamen with several ki blasts.

All he could hear were the explosions from the blasts and the screeching of Saibamen. He didn't really know if his attacks were doing any good. The smoke billowed around the Saibamen swarm thick enough that he couldn't even see their shadows. Finally, the smoke cleared and Android 23 couldn't help but feel relieved at what he saw. Four Saibamen had been eliminated which, to him, meant less work.

Of course, this relief was short lived. After the smoke had cleared completely, the remaining eight Saibamen flew towards him, screeching and howling with fury. "Looks like Hyper Tornado is my only option here..." Android 23 growled to himself. Quickly, he went through the motions that he performed earlier and the massive tornado returned. The Saibamen shrieked before they were sucked into the vortex, only to be shredded and reduced to nothing. Once the winds calmed, Android 23 stood there panting. Surely this training would end soon!

It wasn't long until Android 23 heard the ground beneath him begin to split open once more. He rolled his eyes and looked down, feeling incredibly bored. To his surprise, only twelve Saibamen crawled out of the ground. He had really expected double the amount that he had destroyed before. Perhaps this was as high as the simulator could go? Surely not!

Without giving the horrible green monsters any time to react, Android 23 immediately unleashed a seemingly neverending barrage of ki blasts. He felt his body start to grow weaker and weaker with each ki blast. His body wasn't meant for this kind of constant attacking. Soon the blasts also became weaker and more sparse. He would have to give up if he didn't want to die while training. That was the last thing he needed, to become known as the Changeling that died in a simulation.

Suddenly, an image sparked in his mind. The image was changling, cackling at him as he became weaker and weaker. The image alone was enough to infuriate Android 23. He hated that Changeling more than he hated anyone else. It was because of that tyrant that he and his father had to flee their home planet. Not only that, but he absolutely hated changling's method of ruling his underlings.

"Give up now, Android 23," the imaginary changling seemed to say. "Real warriors are able to kill that many Saibamen with their eyes closed, and here you are wasting away your life's energy. Why don't I put and end to your suffering and kill you myself? That will make many people a lot happier. Even your wretched father would be happy that you died!"

Even though that conversation was only in his mind, it absolutely infuriated the young Changeling. He roared in anger and suddenly the amount of ki blasts that erupted from him doubled in number and size. Finally he finished blasting, panting heavily and feeling very sore from all of the energy that he used up. When the smoke finally cleared, his eyes widened in shock. All of the Saibamen that were beginning to form were reduced to nothing. A large, steaming crater was all that remained of them. Android 23 felt very proud of himself that he was able to accomplish that sort of feat at this time. He only hoped that he would be able to keep doing this.

The ground began to churn once more, undoubtedly spewing out more horrible little Saibamen, but Android 23 felt prepared. He felt renewed in strength, having been utterly angered by the vision of changling laughing at his weakness. He flew down to the ground and prepared for the first Saibaman to pull itself from the ground. Immediately, he saw a spindly green arm push its way out of the soil. Without waiting any longer, Android 23 blasted a Death Beam at the Saibaman. With a screech, it was dead, but there were more to come.

He looked up and saw eleven more Saibamen tunnel their ways out of the Geta. They immediately locked their eyes on him. With a loud howling screech, they all flew after Android 23, intent to kill him. The Changeling rushed toward them, smirking as he neared them. Finally, they collided. Android 23 was throwing punches, kicks, and tail swipes in every direction he could, and nearly all of them was met with an impact. He was dodging all of the Saibamen's attacks, much to his surprise.

Eventually, he impaled a Saibaman on the end of his spiked tail and used the corpse as a sort of club to batter the others away from him. After he was a fairly good distance away from them, he flew up into the air and threw the dead Saibaman off of his tail, onto the ground. He then decided that he would try a little something different when he attacked again. The other Saibamen quickly rushed in his direction, still screeching and howling. Android 23 brought his tail eye level and grabbed hold of it. He then began to spin in a circle absurdly fast and brought his ki to surround his body, forming a solid ki wheel out of his body.

The Saibamen stopped halfway from Android 23, slightly confused as to what the Changeling was planning. However, that was all made abundantly clear once he began to move. The ki wheel suddenly lunged itself at the Saibamen at an incredible speed. The Saibamen shrieked in fear and tried to flee, but the wheel was too fast. It ran through them like a bowling ball through pins, tearing some apart and knocking others farther away. Finally, the wheel stopped and Android 23 emerged from the solid sheet of ki energy.

He was slightly out of breath, but he was otherwise okay. He admired how there were only three Saibamen left. His father's technique was definetely a force to be wreckoned with. The last three Saibamen seemed too confused to move for a while, but eventually, they all lunged at him once again. Android 23 smirked before raising his pointed index finger once again. He finished off the last three with three Death Beams, striking each between the eyes, killing them instantly. Hopefully, this was a sign of how other battles with his enemies would end up, but he couldn't be too sure.

Android 23 looked behind him, confident that he could handle any challenge that this simulator could throw at him, though he wanted a bit more of a challenge. Much to his surprise, his hopes were answered and twenty-four Saibamen emerged from the ground. This was a little more than he had expected, but it didn't shake his resolve. He knew he could do it. No Saibaman could stop him from obtaining his goals and he wouldn't let them take advantage of him. He flew into the air and held out both of his hands, charging up his ki to send another wave of ki blasts toward the vegetative monsters.

Once they had freed themselves from their Getay tombs, the army of twenty-four Saibamen flew after Android 23, this time snarling and roaring angrily. They were drooling out of their fanged mouths. They held their claws out menacingly, eager to tear at their opponent's flesh. Android 23, however, wouldn't let them near him if he could help it. All at once, he let loose the wave of ki blasts. He was proud too see an entire group of Saibamen go down in flames, but he was surprised to see that a majority of them managed to dodge the blasts.

"So, they're finally getting better, are they?" Android 23 asked himself. "Well, I may as well turn it up a notch, then." He laughed maniacally as he rushed the group of fifteen Saibamen, preparing to unleash a flurry of ki blasts once he was in the midst of them. As he planned, he flew to the center of their swarm and spun around quickly, unleashing more ki blasts at his green enemies. As everything was blurry while he spun, Android 23 couldn't really see if he was striking any of them. All he knew was that they were staying a good distance from him at this point.

Finally, he stopped and looked around for the Saibamen. He smirked and began to laugh again. There were only eight left now, but he was starting to get bored with this battle. He straightened his legs and crossed his arms in front of his chest in the shape of an X. "Hyper Tornado!" he shouted as he began to spin in the oh-so familiar cyclone that he had used twice before. The eight Saibamen were practically helpless as they were drawn into the powerful winds. As before, the Saibamen were torn apart in the winds until nothing remained. After he felt satisfied, Android 23 slowed down until the winds finally stopped.

All at once, his surroundings vanished and he was back in the same room that he started out in. He sighed with relief. "Finally, the Saibamen training is over," he panted. "Those stupid cabbage-brained monsters...they just kept coming!" He laughed to himself wearily. This training had really worn him out. It didn't matter, though. As long as this training would somehow make him more powerful, he would be happy that he had gone through it. Slowly, he left the room and made his way out to the outside world.
