The Beginning of the End

A rather small sphere could be seen high above the city, closing in on the ground with astounding speed. Flames lashed out in all directions around the speeding space pod, a commonplace occurrence among space devices traveling at such great speed. The pod crash landed, well at least what a human would call crash landing while a Saiyan would call it a rather smooth landing, into the center of a towering skyscraper, bringing it down to the ground with the sheer force of the near instant descent. Out of the rubble emerged a single floating individual, the Dark Saiyan named Akuen. He flew above the smoke to get a clear view of the area in which he landed, keeping his left hand on the button to the side of his scouter. He activated the search mechanism, trying to locate any and all significant power levels. He came to the conclusion that there was nothing in this city that could possibly pose a threat to him, and so resolved to simply erase this useless place from the planet. His mind and body were completely recovered from the training simulator, and all of the training with Vegeta seemed as though it had never happened, though he knew his power level was higher than it was when battling Bardock. In fact, he even had the memory of learning and using a rather destructive purple laser beam type thingy.

Back to reality. Akuen kept his hand on the scouter sitting upon his left ear, trying his best to figure out how this accursed thing worked. To be honest, he had never even touched one of these things, but he thought it necessary to bring it along in this little adventure. It was a bit shameful to him, as every other planet he had simply wiped out the inhabitants without a second thought as to their power levels. Here, however, he knew the inhabitants would be a challenge, just none of the residents in this here city. Okay, now back to reality, for real this time. Akuen's right hand stretched out to the city below him, with all fingers stretching as far as they could with the palm open. And here came the point when Akuen faced his first major problem, well other than his utter lack of experience with anything technological. He'd even come to fear his own space pod because of that simulator screw up. Electronics just weren't his thing. Now, back to reality. Anyone else having some Deja Vu?

Akuen thought of which technique to use to blow this city up, cause he was definitely going to blow it up, but he didn't want to use too awful much power, but at the same time, he didn't want to use an unde rpowered technique that only blows up a block. So he thought and thought and thought, until finally coming to a conclusion. However, during all of this time, the people down below in the streets were awfully curious of the floating man in the sky. Some were yelling angel, in fact almost all were yelling angel. Except for one man. You see, there was this farmer in town selling some of his county famous tomatoes to a local fruit market. Now this guy had a really strange dream, at least I hope it was a dream, in which he was abducted into a flying saucer and strapped to a table with his back facing up. Well, the bid headed, bug eyed alien held up its right hand, which was covered by a blue latex glove. This creature then reached down and, well you get the idea. Anyway, this farmer man wasn't too fond of aliens after that event, and was determined to shotgun the next weir thing he saw. Needless to say, Akuen was bolted by numerous rounds of shotgun shells within the next few minutes.

This here irritated the Saiyan; he had spent all that time thinking of the proper technique to use to blow this place up, when some idiot starts shooting at him. He got distracted, and forgot what he made up his mind to use. The poor guy was furious. Well, his hand started to glow blue, and all those people who yelled angel were holding up there hands as if receiving a gift, while mr. Shotgun over there was still letting a few more hundred rounds loose. "What? Do you want to die?" Akuen laughed as he let loose the full power energy ball that would mark the sure end of this silly society. Now all of those people that were consistently yelling "Angel! Angel!" suddenly had a change of heart and said "Wait what?" followed by "DEMON! DEMON!" followed by "KA-BOOOOOOMMMM!!!!!!" Yeah, people died that die. Now there was a crater for a city, with a Saiyan flying above it yelling at his scouter. Then it hit him...he just blew up his own space pod. At first he was happy that the infernal piece of junk was gone, but now he had no way off of this scrap heap. He yelled out in rage at, guess what? his scouter. Yep, it was all that little thing's fault. It somehow used its amazing electrical powers to force the Saiyan to forget where his own space pod was. He would have crushed it, but he knew that without it, he'd be lost. quite the conundrum.

He could see the place where the pod had crashed, and he flew in. The fires from the upper half of the building it had blown through actually were beginning to heat up to the level where the structural integrity of the remaining beams were starting to give way. He frowned, and felt the atmosphere shake with a literal sonic boom as he accelerated past the speed of sound, snatching a couple of those that had been knocked close to the edge and setting them down as he landed on the concrete, looking up at the now flying Dark Saiyan. Then, without warning, loud blasts began to sound – it would be possible that these had been going on for quite some time, but Kye had just broken the sound barrier, after all, and thus sounds were a little bit distorted, to him. The man that was firing the weapon at the mysterious newcomer seemed to have ammo falling out of his ears, but it was all to no avail – he couldn’t even scratch the male from another planet. Kye’s tail twitched, then his eyes widened as he realized that the alien had had enough. The young man blurred out of the way as, suddenly, a blast rocked the city. Stunned, Kye surveyed the destruction, unable to do anything about it as the frustrated invader gritted his teeth and seemed to tremble with rage. What was his problem? It wasn’t as though the shotgun blasts were even hurting him…Kye looked down at the blasted and destroyed city, his eyes narrowing. Such wanton destruction….who did he think he was?! Kye decided at last to speak, to grit his teeth in anger of his own. That city had held thousands…who was this piece of…. ”Hey!” he cried, drawing attention to where he was floating somewhere toward the left of Akuen. ”I don’t know who you are, but you’d better start rebuilding that city down there!” he cried. Suddenly, he wished he were a little better with words – but being a highly trained martial artist generally didn’t offer one the social skills that other professions and life paths seemed to offer. His words, while some might see as comical, came from a stern façade. He frowned meaningfully, his bluish aura up and his Ki flaring outward, as though in warning. He wouldn’t let this go – not by a long shot. This guy had better have a good reason for doing what he just did, or at least be willing to pay for all the lives he’d just snuffed out. While Kye doubted both of those, he was willing to give the benefit of the doubt. Some called it naïve, but the Saiyan himself would say he was merely compassionate. With a clenched fist, he awaited the answer from the newcomer, the blasted city beneath them smoking with the after effects of Akuen’s furious Ki blast.

A huge blast dominated the city and that was when Emi knew things were more serious than she thought as winds from the blast whipped through her long hair. It meant someone with a significantly large amount of power had come out of that thing and they had come out meaning serious business. A deep sense of rage built in within Emi, her Ki leaking from her body flaring violently. She arrived at the scene of the incident, eyes on a person hovering in the sky. He had to be the perpetrator. This had to be some sort of twisted joke she thought. How could it be? So many innocent lives lost to some crazy fool.

It appeared that he was wearing a scouter too. Emi had little knowledge of the devices but she had seen one as a child and remembered them as Saiyan devices made to make sure you got around without getting lost and a way to see how powerful one was. Though this fact paid little relevance to what had just occurred in this one peaceful city. She ascended upwards into the sky gritting her teeth angrily. She had friends who lived in that City. She was livid. Utterly and completely. She was about to charge the man when she noticed that Kye had gotten here before her off to the side, now visible after rising up into the air.

Her rage ebbed a little now that she had seen him, a bit more focused now unlikely to launch an assault in blind rage. Emi's Ki still however was rising, white flame flickering furiously around her body. "Kye...". She hovered across till she was a few metres from him. Twitching slightly with unease, fury and sadness she quietly spoke. "He... ...he killed them. How... could he...". She said this all whilst staring up at the man who had inflicted all this damage on the inhabitants of West City, her eyes full of hate for what he had done. She thought of her friend who she had left earlier no so far from here a few hours prior. She had to have gotten out of this area by now, she simply had to have done so.

The Dark Saiyan finished rampaging at that infernal scouted on his ear just in time to notice a presence to his left. He looked over to see a human male flying at his same height. It was obvious that this guy was a few years younger than Akuen, even though Akuen himself looked as though he was only 25. That was one of the dominant Saiyan traits he received from birth, that slow aging gene. Though now he wondered how this boy managed to get here so fast; Akuen was usually fairly good at seeing another object approaching. He accredited this to his earlier focus on the rubbish scouter and let it go. Then he heard a sudden beeping. As soon as he began to wonder where it was coming from, numbers began to appear on the scouter's screen. Oh what? You just now pick up his power level?! Piece of junk!. Akuen thought as he looked over the numbers. 754.4? This fool dares challenge me with that pitiful power? Akuen almost started laughing when he saw the arrow on he side of he screen. What's this? He wondered. His head turned to the right, following the arrow like a good minion. Then he saw that it pointed to another child, this one female. So that's here power level. Well I guess that makes more sense, but what's this guy's? Akuen looked back to Kye as Emi began to close in. The Dark Saiyan once more pressed the button on his scouter that he finally figured out meant 'Read Power Level'. The numbers all dropped to zero, then boosted back up quite a bit. His hand dropped as he read the power level, his face showing no emotion as his mind ran through the 'holy crap' sequence. The heck is this?! A 6482.5?! That's higher than mine! Guess that means this fight's gonna be more fun than I thought. Though I'd expect a lot less from a mere earthling.

Akuen looked over the male, who would be his true opponent here. Of course he planned to go ahead and kill the girl first, for fun, but this boy would be the real treasure. Then his eyes focused on that odd structure swishing behind the powering-up Kye. Is that what I think it is? Akuen's eyesight locked in on what looked like a furry tail. Surprised, he darted his vision to the girl, who was now near what seemed like her brother. She, too, possessed a tail. Akuen snickered before making his first comment to the duo. "Now why would two Saiyans be worrying about a village on a back water planet like this? His face twisted into an evil grin as he assumed the fighting pose he learned from his session with Bardock; legs bent slightly with both hands in front of his chest, the right facing outwards and the other facing to the right, both relaxed. If you plan on fighting me for this wretched place, bring it on. The man laughed slightly under the bright yellow sun, sitting halfway down the sky, placing the time around sometime in the afternoon. He needed to finish this fast, while still making it enjoyable, as fighting two great apes would be quite the pain. Akuen made a swift shout of "Hah!" as his aura suddenly became blatantly obvious, shadowing the Dark Saiyan in its black glory. This was going to be fun.

Kye grit his teeth as Akuen insulted the home he’d just destroyed, the rubble below all that was left of the well-developed, bustling city. ”You’ll pay for what you’ve done….” he said ominously, fists actually creaking slightly with the power of his grip. He began to tremble as he tapped that incredible reserve once more – this time it was not just for training, but for true, deadly force. In his mind, he pictured that deep underground sea once again, but this time instead of dripping from a single stalactite, he imagined a sudden turning in that ocean of Ki. The turning became a funnel, a whirlpool that drained from the center. The Ki turned in a long, slow spiral, emptying out into his form as he raised his power. He drew it up like a blanket over him, coating him and then letting its form spill outward. The air was thick with his aura, the light blue seeming harmless and barely visible against the afternoon sky. Kye’s form, however, was much more than harmless – it was downright intimidating. His hair and clothes whipped about as he growled low, that whirlpool inside him churning faster as he let more and more of his Ki go. If what Akuen had just done was power up, then what Kye was doing now was simply overflowing with power. The Ki crackled from him, flaring and slowly growing larger. Before, he had drawn in and then exploded outward – this was just a pure release of power, his Ki growing, and growing, until it seemed like the air itself might crack under the pressure. Then, all at once, as though a dam had broken, it rushed over the surrounding air like a tidal wave, suddenly accelerating. The blue light filled the area for a moment before Kye reigned it back in, now only whipping up around him as though he were aflame. His eyes narrowed on Akuen, and he twitched in anticipation, ready to move forward but unwilling to make the first move, even if it could be seen that the Dark Saiyan had already done so. He was poised, midair, ready to charge forward – the only thing that was stopping him was the fact that he was unsure whether or not he should. He’d never seen an aura quite like this one, and Emi was getting even more angry than he was. Kye himself shook with power, as though hardly holding back all of the pent up Ki inside his body. As his ocean of power drained, it also revealed a dark, black rock there in the middle of it. This, Kye knew, was all of his negative thoughts and emotions, buried beneath a well of thick Ki most of the time. This….Dark Saiyan was bringing out something terrible in Kye, but he believed he could contain it – for now. He’d monitor the fight, and also make sure that the King – such as he was – wouldn’t immediately die upon being attacked. His muscles tensed, veins bulging slightly as he slowly circled Akuen, floating in the air as he faced the black aura. Had he really come here just for this?

”Emi….you can probably handle this guy, right?” he asked, not looking over at his sister but confident that she would hear him and would act upon his question. The girl had been training a lot recently, and her growth had been immense. He’d be there to step in if things got out of hand, but for now – this would be a good test of her abilities, to allow her the chance to really stretch her legs against an opponent that would challenge her without actually leaving the chance that she might be truly harmed – Kye would see to that.

He had been traveling into the city when the... thing fell from the sky. Rain listened first as he heard a high-pitched keening sound as something fell towards the Earth. Looking around on the forest path to West City, he spotted the object suddenly, just for a second before it impacted into the giant skyscrapper, likely killing a few hundred people. Rain was devastated by such a loss. Even one death would wound him, as these were his people, his comrades. Then, something flew out from the debris, a... tailed human? Rain would barely see him, but his keen eyesight could just make him out in the sky as he lifted up. Suddenly, there were chants of him being an angel! An angel... killing so many with his or her landing? Preposterous. It seems a few others thought so too, and had begun to fire at him, their shotguns somehow actually reaching that far into the sky. Such range and accurasy! Perhaps they'd like to join the military...

Anyway, by now, Rain was running towards the city, wanting to see just what was going on. And then... there was a flash of a bright, unholy light, and then nothing. To the king, it seemedl ike an eternity, though he must have been unconscious for only a moment. After all, when he finally woke up, not much had changed. That is, if you discount his slightly battered body- after all, he did only get hit by the very edge of the attack- and the fact that the city he was sworn to protect- his kingdom, was now a bunch of ruins. If there were many survivors, he could not see them. This was horrible, a catastrophy. Slowly, the young man stood up. Glancing at the sky, he saw there were two more people. Now that he was closer, he could tell they were all simular, though the first guy that did all of... this... seemed much darker and eviler than the other two, more recent arrivals. Somehow, they were all flying. This... was so outlandish, but Rain figured that, if one man can suddenly destroy his entire kingdom, then flying isn't that far-fetched.

Rain... could hardly react to what was going on. He was in shock, and perhaps later would he finally get himself together. For now, the low-powered king stumbled through the ruins, at last finding himself close enough to do something... anything. Raising his hand up above his head, he flattened his palm in preperation.

Perhaps... If I'm lucky... He won't see this. Perhaps I'll be able to avenge my people...

As these thoughts were formed within the mind of the young King, a disk of energy began to take shaps in his palm. The disk was flat and circular and disk-like, as disks are wont to be. At last, the disk was ready. Rain was prepared to use it- this was his first attack to be used, and likely his last, if the enemy spotted him. The disk was aimed to cut the evil man in half, and Rain had some pretty good aim.

"Destructo... Disk..." he whispered, wincing from his injuries sustained in the giant explosion. The disk was aimed and true, it nothing happened, it would cut the Sai-jin in half from behind.

((OOC: Couple of things for Izumi's sake. It's extremely unlikely that you'd assume I was a Saiyan unless you knew me as she has no tail so if anything you might assume her a human. Secondly it's highly unlikely you think we were siblings unless you really studied facial features as our hair AND eye colour is different. Anyways, to the post)).

"I'll get him, just you see". He voice trembled slightly, seething with rage. Though if Emi was unable to handle it her brother would certainly be there to clean up the mess. However fighting blindly in rage was not wise. Emi knew this and she knew it would effect her fighting ability so she took a moment to take a deep breath in and exhale and with the exhale, she released a mass of those pent up feelings of anger. They existed still but not before the rational mind. She calmed herself. It would not do to fight in such a manner, her calm still rage was the wing beat of the small butterfly, a furious storm in the brewing. The light flare surrounding her body faded, peaceful, slowing down its erratic form to a stable one and then it disappeared.

She was glad her brother was here. Emi always felt more secure, more confident and safer around him. Her confidence and belief in him was absolute. Dropping down she slowly moved down towards the earth below her, the destroyed land where asphalt and buildings, people, cars, bikes, society used to be. What was the need for this senseless act of violence? None of this needed to be, none of this was provoked. It was sheer evil brutality for the sake of it and that, that was not to be forgotten, taken lightly or easily forgiven. No action had to be made in response to this. She gently touched down on the broken damaged ground between two fallen buildings now in ruin. The buildings had stood proudly a few moments ago and now such a radical, drastic change had taken place. The ground was wrecked, destroyed by a blast of Ki. Emi could see the bodies of people, corpses trapped under layers of destruction. The cruelty of it. It stilled the calmness in her mind even more, an ever greater focused rage coaxed out, rippling under the surface. They had done nothing to deserve this, absolutely nothing, Emi would take up their fury and their vengeance and see it done. Not only that, this person was a threat to them all on Earth. If he did this here without issue there was no doubt in her mind that he could do the same elsewhere with out hesitation. He was too much of a threat to let run freely around on the planet freely. If there was one good thing about this area being destroyed and devoid of life was the fact that she could run riot without worrying about harming others around her.

The air around Emi shifted, a small gentle vortex expanding outwards. "You up there. You will pay for what you've done here". With that sentence completed Emi had said all she had wanted to for the time being to the being of her anger. His pitch black aura contrasted the colour of her own Ki. The hue of it only served to empathise the evil that this person held, ingrained into his soul, ingrained into his twisted wicked core. He needed purging. She lowered her stance a little and clenched her fists and gritted her teeth. The ground began to quake as pieces of broken earth began to rise into the sky as shock waves of force began to emanate from her body as her power level began to rise. The ground around her feet began to split opening up small fissures in the ground. She glared up fiercely at the man, he would be sorely mistaken in underestimating her power for her being a girl. Her aura of Ki reemerged once again, bright and powerful flaring up greatly. If anyone was going to start she was going to make sure she was not of guard. She placed her hands closer together allowing her fingertips to connect with each other. Sparks of golden lightning began to crackle between her hands as energy began to gather in the space between her hands. Winds whipped upwards spiraling around her as a ball of Ki glowed. Her aura blazed outwards as the sphere readied itself. "Prepare yourself"! yelled Emi up at her target prepared to launch the sphere of Ki at him. It was just before then Emi in her vision past the man saw a concentrated disk of energy soaring towards the invading Saiyan from behind. Perfect. She smirked inside giving nothing away on her face, this would serve as a great distraction. The technique was one she recognised as it was one that she possessed the ability to use herself. It's appearance was certainly that of a Destructo Disk and her rather loud and direct approach would mask its presence, not only that. If he did decide to avoid it if he noticed it at the last Emi was prepared to launch her attack right there. But who was the person behind this sly assault? She could not see him and that was probably a good thing, it meant that they would be at the least, hidden from obvious sight. The attack of the almighty cutting disk of energy took place and in that instant she unleashed her orb of explosive energy at the Saiyan, dodge or not. "Gekiretsu Kōdan"! Emi extended her arms out at the man, palms cupped facing him firing off the energy sphere which shot out at great speed on course to strike directly into the man, a short distance to travel with extremely little lee way to dodge the attack. The ground surrounding where she stood broke fragmenting the rock around her as she unleashed the blast.

Akuen could see the rage building up in the eyes of both opponents, but he wasn't worried, as his power level trumped the little girl's, and the male's was only a bit higher than his own. Akuen continued to get Kye's readings as the aura of Ki surrounding the tailed man grew brighter and brighter, until peaking at Ten thousand? That's incredible! Akuen thought as the grin on his face grew bigger with the prospect of facing so powerful an opponent. He then shot a side glance at the girl as the male slowly maneuvered to the side, cautious of any sneak attacks. What was strange, is that the girl no longer possessed a tail. Curious, Akuen directed his full gaze at her, and lo and behold, there was a tail on her. Akuen disregarded it as a trick of the light, and looked to see where the other one had flew off to. Out o the corner of his eye, he saw the tail-less girl yet again. Akuen began to grow irritated, and rushed his head around to get another good look at her. The scouted on his ear was already loose from the aggravation let loose on it earlier, and this was just enough to make it fall. Akuen's left hand caught it without even a second's thought, and he saw the girl still without a tail. Evidently, his mind had been playing tricks on him.

He looked to his scouted before replacing it on his head, and nearly instantly noticed a small black mark on it. Looking even closer, he realized that it was right in between the last number and the second to last number positions. It was marker. His eyes lit up in rage. Those idol secretaries back at the space port did this, and they were not gonna get away with it. Akuen looked to his space pod, determined to drop everything and return home to teach those guys just what happens when you mess with an angry Saiyan. Then he remembered...he blew it up. So, with a sigh, the Dark Saiyan replaced his scouted on his left ear and turned it back on, rubbing that speck off of the screen. First he scanned the child's power level. Upon reading the accurate reading, his eyes widened. Then he looked to Kye, getting the accurate reading on this one as well. He couldn't believe what his eyes were seeing. It's...it's over ninety thousand!!!! Akuen looked to the girl once more, who was now descending. He knew he'd have to give this his all, and finish it up quickly, or if the need arose, simply blow up the entire planet. "A ground fight? Alright then." The Dark Saiyan followed Emi's lead, features staying in the same evil smile that has been there since the very beginning. He knew better than to let his enemies know his thoughts, and would sooner die than have his face betray his doubt. He landed a few meters in front of Emi, keeping the same fighting stance he had before. However, he'd not let her get the better of him. His hands slammed together in front of him at the wrists, with palms open and facing Emi. Both hand then darted to his right hip as he turned slightly to the right, preparing a technique that should be able to finish this child off with one go.

His black aura condensed into the gap between his palms, and a black energy began to gather there. It shined through his hands, revealing the dark intent almost instantly. Then he saw her look up. As a curious one, Akuen didn't resist following suite. He then laid eyes on what she was eying. It was a strange disc shaped energy blast, and boy did it look sharp. That would've hurt, might've even cut off my tail, if I had one. Good thing this little girl moved down here, saved me the trouble of dodging. With a little grunt similar to a laugh, he looked down at his foe, staring straight into a bright yellow orb of Ki. "O SHHHH" Akuen launched his Sharow Kamehameha at once. The black energy wave hit the light grenade head on, and quite literally ate it. The Dark Saiyan kept the black energy attached to his hand, absorbing that energy of hers with delight. The Kamehameha continued in its path toward Emi, ready and hungry for a destructive collision with the girl's abdomen. Let's see her dodge this. The Dark Saiyan mused.

(Well, according to yours and Emi's posts, it would have been launched when I started moving, and would have been in the air as I hit the ground, thereby missing me. Though if you're so caught up on hitting me with one, just toss another. :/)

(OOC: Whatever and such, I wouldn’t let him be hit by the Destructo Disk anyway, this argument is pointless)

As the disk sailed in, and Akuen began to descend, the watching Saiyan spied the attack. He glanced over to the direction it had come in from, to the misguided King of West City, and realized immediately that the man was trying to avenge his city. It was a noble thing to attempt, but Kye also realized that the man, should he fail, would only be making himself a target for the much more powerful Dark Saiyan, and if he succeeded would be denying his own sister the chance to prove herself in single combat – ruining the honor in the fight in the process. He took aim with his own technique – a simple technique that was quick and effective, and at his power level would annihilate the Destructo Disk from the relatively weak human. His eyes lit up, and blasted forward with a stream of Ki that would intercept the disk, Kye’s bluish tinged Ki destroying the technique without much effort at all. The collision of Ki set off an explosion, blowing outwards and harmlessly causing the wind to rush about in all directions. The swirling of the smoke and dissipating Ki lingered in the air as Kye watched the opening exchange of the battle between Akuen and Emi. This was it – they would each launch their attacks, and would see exactly who was more powerful by the end of their clash. It was what Saiyans lived for, and to be honest Kye was actually a little jealous of Emi – being able to let loose like that was something he hardly had the ability for, these days. He didn’t let his distracted thoughts show through in that protective gaze. He had not revealed the hiding place of the King of Nowhere, and would not do so if he could handle it. In fact, he’d make certain to protect the man should he be targeted by the Dark Saiyan, solidifying his role as referee and protector. He’d been remiss to let it go as far as it had – the destruction of the city was something he’d never forgive himself for allowing. All of those people…he set his jaw and tried not to think about what would fill him with rage at that point, to join battle with the object of his ire. His sister could take care of this one. He was sure of it.

Such a simple attack... A lone ki blast... And then, nothing. Rain had failed. He would not be avenging his people today. There was nothing he really could do, after all. He was weak, pathetically so. One of his strongest attacks was wiped out by a simple blast of energy for Ran-Ran's sake! Why did that flying man with the tail destroy his attack? Perhaps, since Rain had missed his target, the man was removing the attack in case it hit something else. If so, Rain was grateful, but he shouldn't have wasted his energy.

Panting and exhausted and in serious pain and agony, the wayward King sunk to his knees, the rubble beneath him crunching ans causing a dull ache to settle where he landed. His arms fell down in front of him, stopping him from planting face-first into the floor. Tears dropped from his eyes as he cried for his people, for his vengence denied him. If that attack had failed, there was no use trying to send anything else. Perhaps it was best to let those two take care of things. He had tried, and failed, simply because the bastard decided to land on the floor, instead of being smart and keeping the high-ground. It was obvious he never read anything about Tactics.

Rehardless, Lord Rain knew he needed to move, and quickly too! He was directly in the line of fire of the woman's attack, being some point behind the dark monster of a man in fron of him. So, shakilly, he slowly made his way to his feet, the gravel and debris crunching lightly under his booted feet as his arms swayed in front of him as he forced himself up so he could move. His back bent forward and head bowed, he forced first his left foot forward, then his right foot, slowly but surely making his way out of the line of fire. Step by step he took it nice and slow, ready to fling himself if an attack came his way. If he went unmolested, he would slump down behind a giant slab of concrete, either part of a building or some bridge, right at the edge so he could peer around and see what was going on. Next to him, the dead eyes of a little girl bored into his skull, her stuffed teddy bear still held in her arms, her grip tight even in death. There was no lower torso. She seemed to be staring at him, taunting him, accusing him. 'Why didn't you save us? Where were you for us in our time of need? Why didn't you die as well?' She seemed to say to him, causing the King to lcose his eyes, whimpering softly in his turmoil. he scooted his legs to his chet, and wrapped his arms around them and leaned his head into his legs. He was terrified of what was going on. Never had he seen or imagined such a thing happening at the hands of one man. And yet, it had. Rain... did not want to die. He loved his people, and strived to be a good king, but he did not want to die... for all their deaths to be in vain. Why was this happening? Why to him? Perhaps he would never know. But for now, as he sat there, unable to move as his body locked itself into place, next to the courpse of a child, Rain did wish for death. At that moment, he wished that he had diede instead of all those others.

The man descended down from the sky a few metres from her. Taking that into account Emi leaped backwards increasing the gap between them by several for metres. The disk launched was obliterated by her brother with a simple Ki blast. Emi let her orb of destruction fly forth towards the man as he looked up. By the time he looked back it was upon him. Maybe instinctively, he unleashed a black beam straight forwards to just about intercept the Light Grenade. It engulfed it completely, it was certainly a peculiar technique. Thanks to her shifting her position further away it gave her ample time to make a swift evasion. She slipped to the left moving forwards at the same time, hovering above the ground travelling across with a sleek barrel roll. Emi avoided the beam which soared past her exploding in the distance before she lightly touched the ground the aura fading once more.

Her moves flowed instantly from one to another as she fired a simple Ki blast into the ground in front of her kicking up a obscuring cloud of dust. In that moment she rapidly formed a disk of energy akin to the once that had flown above earlier. She launched it her own Destructo Disk this time launching it straight forwards towards the place he stood from the second ago when the area was smoke free. It appeared out of the dust soaring towards him. Emi leapt out of the dust herself, sighting the Saiyan and began to fly for him. She knew that her brother was containing his anger far better than her. She would take on his anger too along with those who died, those who survived and direct it all at him.

After the little memory returning incident had just happened, which is what that flashback was up there, Akuen’s mind focused more deeply on the battle at hand. Emi had managed to dodge his darkened Kamehameha, but she failed to notice one thing, the one thing that Akuen had absolute faith that all but the keenest eyes would be unaware of. Akuen’s right hand held a connection to the launched wave, which gave his fingers the ability to alter the direction in which his wave traveled. As Emi jumped to the side and began her little dash, the Shadow Kamehameha lurked in the background, turning towards her back and slowly following behind her rather than blowing up. She wouldn’t be able to sense it or see it, Akuen was the only one with a scouter here, after all, despite its nonsense. Akuen released his hold over the energy and prepared himself for whatever this little girl had planned. His legs tensed and his arms flexed as both his scouter and eyes stayed trained on the enemy.

Then she blew up the ground beneath her. Akuen was surprised, and couldn’t see a darn thing passed all that dust. However, just a second after the dust cloud emerged, his Kamehameha had reached its mark, and exploded upon contact to devastate whatever was within that cloud. Akuen relaxed a bit and bent his knees to sit upon the backs of his ankles, putting his eyesight about three and a half feet from the ground. His hands rested upon his knees as his eyes strained to see if anything came out of the smoke cloud. Then it did. An odd looking yellow light shot out towards the Dark Saiyan. He eyed it curiously; it was a good little distance away, so he had the time to consider on what exactly it was, but he just couldn’t figure it out, no matter how hard he tried. His head turned a bit to the side, and his left hand pushed a button on the scouter to get a reading from the strange light. Well it has an energy reading, not much, but still…I wonder what that thing is. Little did Akuen know that he was at just the right height to only be able to see the smallest part of the disc.

He stood up to ponder this thing, but it was then that he realized what is was, ad just how fast it was travelling. With a hocked look upon his face, he hopped into the air, narrowly missing the harmful technique. He looked at it a bit more as it soared behind him and continued on towards some random mountain. What? Does every earthling know that cursed disc? Akuen looked back towards where Emi would be dealing with his earlier attack. However, something caught his eye in the distance. It was amidst the destruction, hiding what little was left of it. It was a fried piece of pecan pie, lying on the ground in what used to be a house. Akuen had never seen such a thing, and yet it meant so much to him, but he knew not how. He moved with as much speed as he had ever known to that location, and picked up the solitary piece of desert. He held it in his hands, observing it with the utmost curiosity.

Then a noise caught his attention in the distance. He looked up, holding the pie with the odd feeling of protection in mind. He needed to guard this treasure; he needed to make sure that no more harm came to it, it was…his pie. Akuen saw the flare hurtling into the sky, and sent his scouter to work on the source. It was a power level far superior to his own, but nothing compared to the male Saiyan back there guarding that so called king. This planet is absolutely ridiculous; maybe I had the wrong idea trying to conquer it. I’d be better off running, but that’s not an option for me; I’ve got to win, I’ve got to conquer this world, and I’m not about to let someone else beat me to it, regardless of their power!

Akuen gently set the pie down, and looked to the three people in the distance. He had no control over what his eyes betrayed, and they showed the tell-tale signs of regret, remorse, sadness, kindness. This planet was causing too much trouble for this Saiyan, perhaps destroying it would still be a feasible option. Akuen’s black aura surrounded him once more as he flew off towards the disturbance, intending to annihilate whatever it was that dared attempt to take his new planet away from him.

Kye turned suddenly, sensing the intense power from another being as he shattered yet more of the place that the young Saiyan had once called home. Were there more of them? What was going on, here, a full-scale invasion? Still, it didn't seem as though it were anything he couldn't handle...and Emi was more than handling herself with the newcomer. Even so, he didn't want to investigate the newest threat without more allies. No doubt that explosion could've been seen for miles around, in any case, and heard for even further - there was a predetermined meeting place that those with the skill and power to actually do something about a larger threat. Of course, no one would be there, but he was certain he could find his rival on this planet with a smallish amount of looking, especially with as quickly as Kye could move. The young Saiyan looked down to Emi, and, not wanting to distract her with conversation, gave a quick salute and a nod in the direction that the explosion had come from, indicating his intention. Then the flying young man spread his aura about himself to reduce wind shear, and rocketed away, leaving only a faint blue light that receded in the distance, and the wind of his passing. He frowned as he sped along. Was this only the advance force of a much larger invasion, or a series of ill-timed but unrelated events? He needed more answers, and another head would help with that. Luckily enough, he knew another head.

Upon Izumi's character firing the Dark Kamehameha, Rain and peaked around the corner. Head poking out, he saw Emi easily side-step the attack, but noticed it also turned around, reversing direction! Eyes widening slightly, Rain couldn't help but yell out in warning, "Behind you!" bfore the attack connecting with something, A small disk flew out from the cloud of smoke, and Rain recognized it as an attack he knew and utilized, the Destructo Disk. He watched the evil guy dodge it, and then it soar on behind him, past Rain's hiding spot, and into a mountain further away. After that, Izumi's character who's name escapes me exited, flying off to face some new threat that loomed in the distance. Rain himself wanted to help, but he was injured... barely even able to walk. He was useless.

Kye then exited as well.

Her super brilliant awesomely epic uber ultra cool brother had noticed something in the distance, something big, something strange, something powerful. With a nod in her direction combined with linked eyes the pair meeting each others gaze for a moment, understanding resonated between the two siblings as to what he was doing and where he was going before Kye flew off in the distance towards this new potential threat his blue tinged aura surrounding his body as he soared through the blue skies above her. Hopefully she would join him shortly, she knew he would be fine but it did not stop her from worrying about him. After all he was her super brilliant awesomely epic uber ultra cool brotherwhom which she had the tiniest brother complex about. But before all that happened Emi was currently still dealing with an assault from the invading evil Saiyan with the black aura, the Kamehameha he fired at her was quick but it flew past her due to her quick reactions honed through training and battle and a natural instinct. It however did not explode in the distance as she expected that it would have and to her that was an indicator that something was a little off above that set up. The yell of a person, the person Kye had covered for earlier to look behind her was another indicator, this on far more to the point and far more convincing than an admittedly good, valid and logical point. She fired a basic Ki blast into the ground in front of her stirring up a large obscuring cloud of grey and brown. In that moment, simultaneously she rapidly formed a powerful glowing luminous yellow disk of energy akin to the once that had flown above earlier with its own twang and significantly more power relatively speaking at any rate. As she did that she also flew upwards into the air as the black beam did its worst to the ground where she was. In the air the yellow hued disk became slightly visible as it grew in size. The explosion from the dark sinister energy beam fired by the man known as Akuen kicked up even more dust and dirt further masking the area. She launched it and it flew towards the Saiyan who aptly dodged it. He watched it as it flew off into the distance. Emi at this point was making a beeline for him, he who was looking back. Unknowingly to him, that disk she had thrown earlier had switched back and now was out of the fourth gear and was zooming back at full pace in reverse towards him from behind as Emi took his attention at the front with another basic Ki blast dyed white, this time directed at him and not the ground. The disk would only take a moment to return and it would adjust its position accordingly to him moving up and down and left and right. Emi yet still was coming to get him, she was worried though about Kye. She flew off towards him.

It... was over? Everyone seemed to have left. Slowly, carefully, Rain too got up from the ground. His vision swam for a moment as he experienced vertigo. He shouldn't have stood up so quickly! Stumbling slightly, he turned to the direction of the new fight going on. His eyes grew wideat the scale of fighting going on. He wasn't sure where he should go, though... Which fight was more important? At last, he had decided. With his face set with determination, a frown marred his countenance as he began to march towards the next fight. Though he was weak, he would protect his home with his life! With one hand, he drew his sword as he marched slowly, agaonizingly towards the next enemy. On and on his legs took him, stumling over dead bodies here and there, rubble seemingly to just fall in his way to obscure his path.... But he would still make it. His very life depended on it.

Her destructo disk homed in on the invading Saiyan and the speed of the disk was enough to soar speedily in just after she blasted him with a standard Ki blast. Perhaps the disk formed by the other person was not lethal due to him being far far weaker than the evil that destroyed masses of the city but hers was far more potent. The dust that ensued after the Ki blast meant she could not guide it with one hundred per cent accuracy but she still managed to hit. The disk cut through his arm, between the elbow and shoulder severing it before the disk flew off into the far distance. Emi was already soaring off after the Ki blast.
